ईक्षणं द्विगुणं प्रोक्तं भाषणस्येति वेधसा।
अक्षिणी द्वे मनुष्याणां जिह्वा त्वेकैव निर्मिता॥
īkṣaṇaṁ dviguṇaṁ proktaṁ bhāṣaṇasyeti vedhasā|
akṣiṇī dve manuṣyāṇāṁ jihvā tvekaiva nirmitā||
Reading twice has been advised before speaking. That is the reason why Brahma has made two eyes for men and only one tongue.
